Stage 04 · Procedure

The visual memory of the procedure, secure and organised.

Video Quirúrgico makes it possible to record, store, organise and review surgical video inside a platform designed for the medical-surgical environment and for controlled access.

01 Who it is for

Managing surgical evidence at institutional level

Hospitals and clinics that need to manage surgical evidence at institutional level, make professional review easier, and replace scattered repositories or uncontrolled removable media.

02 How it works

From the operating room to controlled distribution

  1. Before the procedure, the patient, the surgery, the room, the care team and the authorised video sources are linked together.
  2. Recording starts and is controlled within the workflow established for the operating room, keeping the reference to the procedure.
  3. During surgery, markers and captures can be recorded to flag moments of clinical interest or authorised academic interest.
  4. When it ends, the video is closed, identified and transferred to the storage defined by the contracted architecture.
  5. Authorised professionals locate the procedure, navigate by markers and review the evidence from enabled devices.
  6. Selected captures and annotations can be added to the report or to the documentation of the procedure.
  7. Distribution is carried out in a controlled way, respecting permissions, purpose and institutional policy.
03 Key capabilities

What it includes

  • The video is registered against the patient, the procedure and the authorised team.
  • Capture from the video sources defined for the operating room.
  • Organisation, markers, captures and annotations for locating the relevant moments.
  • Cloud storage and review from authorised devices.
  • Controlled sharing for clinical review and professional collaboration.
  • Reports that can incorporate images, captures and annotations from the procedure.
04 Value for the organisation

What changes in the operation

Clinical memory

Visual evidence organised by procedure.

Collaboration

Remote review by authorised professionals.

Governance

Access, distribution and traceability under institutional control.

05 Connection with the ecosystem

How it connects with the rest

It fits into the journey run by Q-Flow and Q-Pay, and uses the Portal to distribute evidence and reports to the authorised recipients.

06 Management and indicators

What can be administered and what can be measured

Management and control

  • The link between patient, surgery, recording, room and the people responsible.
  • Role-based access and traceability of review, sharing and download where it is enabled.
  • Organisation by date, procedure, specialty, surgeon and state.
  • Retention, availability and distribution policies defined by the institution and the plan.

Indicators it can provide

  • Surgeries recorded by specialty, room, procedure and period.
  • Length and storage consumption of the recordings.
  • Procedures pending closure, reporting or publication.
  • Reviews and shares carried out by authorised users.

These are the indicators the module calculates from your institution’s own operation.

Video Quirúrgico preserves the visual memory of the procedure under institutional control and with the context it needs to stay clinically useful.
Available in both editions

The process is the same. How it is implemented is different.

This module is part of the ecosystem and is available in both IRRAD Cloud and TGMed Enterprise. What changes is the implementation model, not what it covers.
