Stage 01 · Arrival

Care begins with order.

Q-Flow organises patient arrival and movement from check-in to the point of care, protecting privacy and making the timings of the process visible.

01 Who it is for

A shared reception, several points of care, or the need to measure

Clinics, hospitals and diagnostic centres with a shared reception, several points of care, or the need to measure waiting and productivity objectively.

02 How it works

From check-in to the point of care

  1. The patient identifies themselves at reception or at a self-service point, with whichever details the institution enables.
  2. The system records the arrival time, issues a token and adds it to the queue for the corresponding service.
  3. Priority, service and point-of-care rules determine the order and the destination, with authorised reassignment available.
  4. The call appears on screens and devices through a reference that protects the patient's identity.
  5. After each stage of care, the patient moves on to the cashier, radiology, laboratory, consultation or a procedure without losing traceability.
  6. The closing record keeps times, movements, cancellations, no-shows and the operational outcome of the journey.
03 Key capabilities

What it includes

  • Assisted or self-service check-in, by identification, QR code or phone.
  • Tickets and tokens that avoid displaying names on screens.
  • Secure references, storing no clinical information the queue does not need.
  • Queues by service, priority and point of care, with controlled reassignment.
  • Visual and audible calling on the configured screens and devices.
  • Traceability and indicators for waiting, no-shows, patients per hour and productivity.
04 Value for the organisation

What changes in the operation

Experience

Less uncertainty and less waiting.

Privacy

Discreet identification throughout the journey.

Control

Objective visibility of the bottlenecks.

05 Connection with the ecosystem

How it connects with the rest

It hands the ticket and the secure reference over to Q-Pay, Radiology, LIS, Clinic, V-Med or Video Quirúrgico. It is the front door of the journey: what Q-Flow records once is not asked again.

06 Management and indicators

What can be administered and what can be measured

Management and control

  • Differentiated roles for reception, care, supervision and administration.
  • A record of calling, transfer, cancellation and completion events.
  • Configuration of queues, priorities, services, stations and screens.

Indicators it can provide

  • Time from arrival to the first call.
  • Time between the call and care or payment.
  • Patients seen per hour, service or station.
  • No-shows, cancellations, transfers and bottlenecks.

These are the indicators the module calculates from your institution’s own operation.

Q-Flow turns waiting into a process that is visible, measurable and improvable, without needlessly exposing the patient's identity.
Available in both editions

The process is the same. How it is implemented is different.

This module is part of the ecosystem and is available in both IRRAD Cloud and TGMed Enterprise. What changes is the implementation model, not what it covers.
