Stage 04 · Procedure

The visual evidence of the diagnosis, inside the same flow.

V-Med captures, organises and delivers video from diagnostic and minimally invasive procedures, linking the visual evidence to the order, the report and the right patient.

01 Who it is for

Services that produce diagnostic video

Endoscopy, colonoscopy, laparoscopy, arthroscopy and hysteroscopy services, and other areas that produce diagnostic video or video of minimally invasive procedures.

02 How it works

From the order to publishing the report

  1. The order identifies the procedure, the patient, the professional responsible and the authorisation required.
  2. The video worklist presents the operator with the prepared procedures, and avoids rebuilding the patient data by hand.
  3. The equipment receives the signal from the defined video source and captures at the resolution enabled by the contracted configuration.
  4. During the procedure, time markers can be recorded for findings, biopsies or moments that need review.
  5. Selected screen captures are linked to the procedure and can be added to the clinical report.
  6. The video repository organises and retains the recording together with its context, permissions and identifying data.
  7. The report, the captures and the video are published to the authorised recipients through the results portal.
03 Key capabilities

What it includes

  • Video capture in HD, Full HD or 4K, according to the contracted configuration.
  • Compatibility with endoscopy, colonoscopy, laparoscopy, arthroscopy and hysteroscopy, among others.
  • A video worklist, to present procedures in order and authorised.
  • Time markers for biopsies, findings and clinical annotations.
  • Screen captures that can be linked to the clinical report.
  • Storage and controlled publication through the video repository and the Portal.
04 Value for the organisation

What changes in the operation

Integrity

The evidence stays linked to the right procedure.

Security

Reduces the use of USB drives, DVDs and informal transfers.

Traceability

Order, video, captures and report in a single journey.

05 Connection with the ecosystem

How it connects with the rest

It receives the ticket, the order and the authorisation from Q-Flow and Q-Pay; it integrates the captures with the report and delivers the result through the Portal.

06 Management and indicators

What can be administered and what can be measured

Management and control

  • The video is tied to the right order and patient from the start.
  • Profiles for operator, professional, reporter, administrator and read-only access.
  • Markers and captures for navigating the findings without reviewing the whole recording.
  • Controlled digital delivery, which cuts down on USB drives, DVDs and informal transfers.

Indicators it can provide

  • Procedures performed by type, room, professional and period.
  • Recording length and storage size per procedure.
  • Procedures pending a report, completed or published.
  • How often captures, markers and the evidence itself are consulted.

These are the indicators the module calculates from your institution’s own operation.

V-Med turns an isolated recording into clinical evidence that is identified, organised, reported on and available within the patient journey.
Available in both editions

The process is the same. How it is implemented is different.

This module is part of the ecosystem and is available in both IRRAD Cloud and TGMed Enterprise. What changes is the implementation model, not what it covers.
